Meet the founder
Lindsey Smolan launched her strategic communications firm VLIV Communications in 2021 to amplify the stories of the beauty and fashion industry’s most exciting companies after more than a decade as a sought-after NYC PR consultant and publicity powerhouse.
Her interest in storytelling started at a young age, with her childhood and teen years spent solving mysteries and breaking stories as a small town sleuth + aspiring journalist. Lindsey graduated from Boston U with a degree in communications. Her career began in earnest spearheading marketing, public relations and brand partnerships for an elevated boutique travel company.
When not glued to her phone or laptop, securing game-changing placements for clients, Lindsey can be found running in her Manhattan neighborhood, hopping boulders in Joshua Tree, or hunting vintage fashion magazines and accessories.
